Welcome to our SFB 1313 Mercator Fellow Prof. Ivan Yotov from the University of Pittsburgh (USA). He will stay at the Department of Hydromechanics and Modelling of Hydrosystems of the University of Stuttgart and be our guest from 3 to 18 June.
About the Mercator Fellowships
Mercator Fellowships enable an intensive, long-term project-based collaboration between researchers from both domestic and foreign institutions. Although Mercator Fellows are on-site for only part of the project, they are associated to the project and remain in contact with the project team members once their research stay is over. With this collaboration, additional competence is to be gained for the project or the network and for increasing the project's visibility. The engagement of Mercator Fellows is more intensive than that of scientific guests. Prof. Ivan Yotov is associated to the SFB 1313 research project A02 "Advanced modelling concepts for coupling free flow with porous-media flow".
