What do sponges, sand, bones, cells and asphalt have in common? They are porous media. In our everyday life, we find them almost everywhere. Examine various porous media under the microscope and experiment with us to understand why their research is so important!
On this year's Open House of the University of Stuttgart – Tag der Wissenschaft – SFB 1313 will be present again with an exhibition. Children and adults will be introduced in the world of porous media and have the possibility to understand them through experiments.
