Title: "Modelling biofilm initiation and growth in porous media"
Place: online presentation >>> If you are interested in participating in the lecture, please contact simon.emmert@iws.uni-stuttgart.de

Abstract

Bacteria live and proliferate in porous media with complex flow environments. This talk outlines the development of an agent based model for microorganisms that includes realistic motility patterns, cell growth and division and the coupling to lattice Boltzmann flow fields.
