SFB 1313 former spokesman Rainer Helmig received the Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lectureship Award from The International Society for Porous Media (InterPore). Congratulations!

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rainer Helmig has been honored with the Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lectureship by the InterPore Foundation in recognition of his significant contributions to groundwater hydrology, subsurface energy storage, and coupled processes occurring at the interface between porous media and free-flow compartments.

Annually, InterPore selects a distinguished researcher in the field of porous media, covering a wide spectrum of topics, to serve as the "InterPore Kimberly-Clark Distinguished Lecturer on Porous Media Science & Technology."
