The SFB 1313 is organising a "Coupled Free Flow - Porous Medium Systems Workshop" from 12 to 14 June 2024 at the University of Stuttgart. More details and the program will be published as soon as possible.
The workshop will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas in the field of multiscale modeling and experimental evaluations of coupling of free flow and porous medium flow, e.g., evaporation process and drying, salt precipitation, interface roughness, reactive transport, and solver and numerical schemes. Our goal is to provide a forum to discuss not only the ongoing works but also the current challenges in each specific field, and the possible approaches to tackle them.
