September 25, 2025 / tg

We are pleased to share that our members actively participated in the ENUMATH 2025 Conference, held from September 1–5, 2025, in Heidelberg, Germany.

The European Conference on Numerical Mathematics and Advanced Applications (ENUMATH) is a leading international forum for researchers and practitioners in numerical analysis, scientific computing, and applied mathematics. This year’s edition brought together experts from across the globe to exchange knowledge, present cutting-edge research, and explore new directions in computational mathematics.

Our SFB 1313 researchers Carina Bringedal, Tufan Ghosh, Mercator Fellow Sorin Pop, Maximilian Hörl, Iryna Rybak, Jun Chen, Mercator Fellow Kundan Kumar, and Ivan Buntic contributed to the program through presentations, posters, discussions and organizing mini-symposiums, engaging with colleagues on topics ranging from numerical methods for PDEs, mathematical modeling and etc.

Participation in ENUMATH 2025 offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaborations, showcase our work to the international community, and gain insights into the latest developments in the field.

We thank the organizers for an inspiring event and look forward to future editions of the conference.
