One of SFB 1313's public relations foci of the second funding period is to go to schools and share knowledge about porous media and porous media research with a younger audience. Therefore, SFB 1313 took the chance and participated in a school career fair at the Christophorus-Gymnasium Altensteig to present the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 1313, to explain what porous media are as well as to present some study programmes of the University of Stuttgart that allow a career in porous media afterwards.
Our SFB 1313 doctoral researcher Julian Härter (research project A06) und a student of the study program "Environmental Engineering" went to Altensteig on 28 June 2022 and met pupils from the grades 8 to 11, gave presentations and answered questions about studying at the University of Stuttgart.
