Our SFB 1313 postdoctoral researcher Nikolaos K. Karadimitriou was invited by the NCSR Demokritos to give a lecture on April 18, 2019. His lecture was entitled: "Microfluidics and application in porous media; from micro to Darcy scale". On the occasion of his presentation the researchers discussed about scientific and applied issues concerning porous media research.
Apart from the existing collaboration with Dr. Andreas Yiotis, who has been our SFB 1313 guest in January 2019, there will be a promising future regarding the collaboration with more members of the NCSR Demokritos and SFB 1313.
