May 13, 2019 /

The International Society for Porous Media

From May 6 to 10, 2019, the 11th Annual Meeting of InterPore took place in Valencia, Spain. International researchers from different research areas and scientific disciplines met at the conference. During a full program of contributions they had the possibility to discuss about porous media research. More than 25 members* of the University of Stuttgart, and in particular SFB 1313, participated at the conference by giving short courses, plenary lectures, mini symposia, poster pitches and by presenting their posters at the poster session.

InterPore Short Courses
During the first concerence day, members of SFB 1313 offered two short courses:

InterPore Honorary Lifetime Membership Award
In the context of the conference, Rainer Helmig received the InterPore Honorary Lifetime Membership Award – a recognition for his work that has made lasting impacts on porous media science.
