Altay Serin is studying for a Master’s degree in "Hydrogeological Engineering" at Hacettepe University in Ankara. He will be doing an internship at LH2 from 1st September through 30th September 2026. Altay Serin is particularly interested in groundwater systems and sustainable water management. During his stay in Stuttgart, he will be researching microbially induced carbonate precipitation and gaining an insight into our experimental work within SFB 1313 and research project C04.
His area of interest are:
- groundwater flow modeling
- sustainable water resource management
- climate change and water resources
- GIS applications in hydrology
Altay Serin is motivated to improve his knowledge in hydrogeological modeling and environmental sustainability and to gain practical experience in this field.
