We are happy to present our two new SFB 1313 Doctoral Researchers’ Representatives Julian Härter and Tim Brünnette:
- Julian Härter is a doctoral researcher of SFB 1313 research project A06 and works currently on the fundamental experimental research of self-pumping transpiration cooling. He obtained a M.Sc. in aerospace engineering and is specialized in optical measurement techniques as doctoral researcher at the Institute of Aerospace Thermodynamics (ITLR).
- Tim Brünnette is a doctoral researcher of SFB 1313 research project B04 and works on the randomisation of fracture models. His goal is to calibrate these models via Bayesian methods and quantify their inherent uncertainties. He studied at the University of Stuttgart and TU Eindhoven and currently works at the Department for Stochastic Simulation and Safety Research for Hydrosystems (LS3).
The election of SFB 1313 Doctoral Researchers’ Representatives takes place once a year and entitles them to vote on the Executive Board. They are the contact persons for SFB 1313 doctoral researchers and the task includes as well the organization of the SFB 1313 Summer School.
